Fulton Savings Security Tips

Change The Way You Bank Forever.

Crimes like identity theft, credit card fraud and other Internet-based frauds are on the rise. At Fulton Savings Bank, we believe the more you understand about how these crimes occur, the better equipped you will be to take precautions to protect yourself.

Identity theft and account fraud happen when someone steals your personal information in order to gain access to your money or to obtain credit in your name. One method that is growing in popularity is called “Phishing”. Phishing involves sending you seemingly legitimate e-mails requesting your personal information. This is often accomplished by asking you to verify or confirm confidential information such as your account numbers, social security number, passwords and other sensitive information. Several techniques are employed to mislead you into believing the request is coming from someone you already do business with, such as your bank.

At Fulton Savings Bank, we want you to know that we will:

  • NEVER initiate a request for sensitive or confidential information from you through e-mail (Social Security Number, PIN, Login User ID, Password, Account Number).
  • NEVER use a “Pop-Up” message to collect information about your accounts.
  • NEVER send you an email that claims that we are updating our files or your accounts, nor threaten that your account is in jeopardy if you do not update your account information immediately.

As a customer of Fulton Savings Bank, the security of your personal and financial information is extremely important to us. We take every precaution to maintain physical and electronic safeguards to protect your personal and financial information.

If you are uncertain of the legitimacy of a request for your personal or financial information made by an individual claiming to represent Fulton Savings Bank or if you receive a suspicious email or request for your personal information supposedly from Fulton Savings Bank or if you suspect you may have inadvertently provided your personal information to a questionable party then, please contact our Customer Service Department immediately during normal business hours at: 315 592-4201 or e-mail us at

Please DO NOT disclose any personal or sensitive information as the Bank’s e-mails are not encrypted.
